New Hampshire Community College-Berlin Fortier Library to Host "Eyes Wide Open" Exhibit

The Fortier Library at the New Hampshire Community College-Berlin will be hosting the New Hampshire portion of the "Eyes Wide Open" exhibit starting on Monday, November 19th and running for two weeks, until December lst. The display, which is currently traveling throughout the state, features combat boots with tags with the names of soldiers who have lost their lives in the Iraq War. It is part of the exhibit originally put together by the Quaker group, the American Friends Service Committee. It serves as a memorial to those who have lost their lives in the conflict.

The library's hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 9 to 2, except for the Thanksgiving holiday when the library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 through Nov. 25th. For more information, contact Katie Doherty at the NHCC-Berlin Fortier Library at 752-1113.
