CCSNH-Berlin Honor Society Induction
The CCSNH-Berlin Alpha Kappa Chi Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society recently inducted 31 new members. The keynote speaker
for the ceremony was Professor Joseph Cabaup, who will be retiring at the end of the semester. Professor Cabaup used the analogy of Mr. Rogers
Neighborhood to talk about the college community and the role the honor students play in it. The newly inducted students signed an oath
promising to live up to the ideals of leadership, scholarship, and service that are the conditions of membership in the organization. The
ceremony was followed by a reception in the college cafeteria for the inductees and the many friends and family members that had come to
support them. (See the two photos below.)
