CCSNH-Berlin Honor Society Induction

The CCSNH-Berlin Alpha Kappa Chi Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society recently inducted 31 new members. The keynote speaker for the ceremony was Professor Joseph Cabaup, who will be retiring at the end of the semester. Professor Cabaup used the analogy of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood to talk about the college community and the role the honor students play in it. The newly inducted students signed an oath promising to live up to the ideals of leadership, scholarship, and service that are the conditions of membership in the organization. The ceremony was followed by a reception in the college cafeteria for the inductees and the many friends and family members that had come to support them. (See the two photos below.)
