The New Hampshire Community College's Fortier Library, along with the Berlin Public Library, is pleased to announce the return of the Fall Book Discussion with this fall's series "British Writers Looking Backward," set to begin August 30th. The series will feature four books with discussions led by Ingrid Graff. For the past 20 years, Graff has been an extremely well-loved book discussion leader and lecturer in the North Country as well as throughout New England. Currently, she is the library media specialist for the Gorham Schools.

The first discussion will be held Wednesday, August 30th at 7 p.m., with the novel Morality Play by Barry Unsworth; the second discussion, scheduled for Wednesday, September 27th at 7 p.m., will cover the Thomas Hardy book Under the Greenwood Tree; and the third, on Wednesday, October 25th, also at 7 p.m., will review Jane and Prudence, a novel written by Barbara Pym. The final discussion with Graff will cover the Penelope Lively novel, Moon Tiger, on Wednesday, November 15th at 7 p.m.

The discussions are sponsored by the Berlin Public Library and the Fortier Library of New Hampshire Community College - Berlin. All four of the sessions will be held at the Fortier Library at the NHCTC campus in Berlin. Books for the series are available for loan at both libraries.
