Certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)

The Automotive Technology industry is more interesting than ever before and provides rewarding career opportunities for talented, energetic individuals. It is rapidly increasing in sophistication, and most training authorities strongly recommend that persons seeking employment in this field complete a formal training program in a postsecondary technical program.

The demand for automotive technicians has never been greater. More than 60,000 new technicians are needed every year and that need is likely to grow in the years ahead. The complexity of modern vehicles makes automotive service and repair a high-tech profession, which requires technicians to work with some of the most sophisticated computerized control systems on the market.

Does this sound like a career for you? Find out more about what it takes to become a successful professional automotive technician.
