This Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree program offers the equivalent of the first two years in a four-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science program. In this flexible program, students select courses based on the requirements of the four-year college to which they plan to transfer. Working with an advisor, students will design a program that best meets their future plans. It is recommended that students identify the college to which they plan to transfer and discuss a transfer plan with their advisor as soon as possible.
Upon completion of the program, students have an academic background sufficient to transfer into a baccalaureate degree program. The program provides a foundation for the acquisition of skills and abilities essential for jobs requiring a broader base of arts and sciences.
